Dave Spicer began playing at the tender age of five. It proved hard to find a teacher willing to teach such a young student. Many refused and said ? come back when hes nine. The last teacher in the telephone book happened to be Walter Lund, the director of the Channel Nine Band. For the next eleven years Walter shared and blessed Dave with his love of Jazz and Music.
