Brisbane Latin Caribbean, Salsa & Calypso Band is a happy and rhythmic band of experienced well travelled musicians who are fun, exciting and a pleasure to listen to.

It’s dancing time when trumpet/ trombone, key, congas, bongos, and maracas vibe up. Just listen or sing along to your Latin favourites: La Bamba, Guantanamera, Belafonte Calypso’s, Coconuts, Banana and Jamaican songs. How about the recent Cuban “Buena Vista Club”, Gypsy Kings, Santana inc. latest songs like: Quato de Tula, Compai, Hot Hot Hot etc… Our Colombian dancers may teach you some salsa and samba moves. You may even want to join in Limbo, Lambada , Makarena, and conga lines.

Over the past 30 years this Brisbane Latin Caribbean Salsa Calypso Band has launched countless products, opened stores, National & international functions, political gathering, CHOGAM, Expos, and conventions. Small eg.: Hyundai, Coca Cola, Bunnings, Woolworths, Heart foundation, Pharmaceutical companies, Virgin Blue, St. George bank etc. etc.

Adaptable to any situation main stage or roving (The bands specialty is roving / strolling performances), be it the Hyatt ballroom stage, the Hilton poolside, wedding, private function, an outdoor expo on Sheraton lawn, Marriot poolside, birthday, roving along boat show walkways, or between convention centre display stalls, they have the theme & the clean pro attitude to fit all occasions.

Available in 2 - 6 piece band lineup with the option to have dancers added, this group bring authentic folkloric Latino style rhythms, excellent instrument improvisation, with Spanish and English vocal harmonies.
