David McCall looks and sounds like Van Morrison and originally hails from the same area of Belfast.  He has sung all his life as those raised in that part of the world often do.  David started working with bands as a roadie and backing singer back in London in the magical era of the 70s.   He put music on hold for some time after emigrating to Australia with his family and is now thoroughly enjoying bringing the legendary Van Morrison music to Van’s passionate fans.

VM Tribute Show Band has evolved from its beginnings in 2009 as a small local covers group.  

Now the band consists of 12 musicians encompassing Van Morrison’s ideal elements ie “two horns and a rhythm section”.  VM brings you a choice selection from Van Morrison’s extensive repertoire.  The setlist includes many of the well-known hits, ballads and dance music which has audiences rapt as they lose themselves in the Van Morrison experience.
