Perth cover band “Sweet Sister” are a versatile 5 piece music group who love playing music together and cover music from the “Angels, Pink, Hoodoo Gurus, Divinyls, Cold Chisel, Katy Perry, Sheryl Crow, INXS, Gloria Gaynor and ELO” to name just a few.

Sweet Sister have done a many functions including playing amongst hay bales in tin sheds, countless weddings, private birthday parties and many venue performances including the Ravenswood Hotel, Drakesbrook Tavern, Peel Alehouse, Mandurah Offshore Fishing Club, Peel Thunder, Cruising Yacht Club in Rockingham Harvey Football Club and Malaga Tavern.

The band is comprised of the following members:

Cassandra Sweeny: charming, attractive versatile vocalist, Cass can sing anything from Adele to Tina Turner, strong voice with good harmonies, Cass also does a considerable amount of Solo work in the Peel Region.

Bruce Angus: Keyboards, a quality trained musician with a flare for Jazz and all things music, Bruce Has been involved in many musical productions at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, also in Perth and Kalgoorlie.

Peter Nessfield: on lead guitar vocals and backing vocals, Peter started playing with the band Rock It in 1978, moving on to Fullhouse in the 80’s, then with Beatles, Rolling Stones, CCR and Monkeys tribute band Backbeat, followed by Blues Band Bluetonics, Funk Bands Methyl Ethel and The Fabulous Keytones also American style Jazz with Mango Marmalade, Peter has returned to radio covers with Sweet Sister and loving it.

Darren Piggott: Drums/Percussion, with years of experience in all types of music, a very solid performer, there’s not much he can’t do.

Frank Longo: Bass Guitar/Vocals, senior member with lots of experience, toured the state extensively with 80’s bands, Silver, Blackwater and Childs Play, powerful versatile performer with strong vocals and driving bass.

Sweet Sister are a tight solid unit and have received nothing but praise from their audiences, the dance floors are always full and the music is always pumping.
The band come fully equipped with a professional PA / Audio system, sound engineer, stage lighting and special effects including full black drop curtains.
