Perth Gypsy Jazz Band came together in 2015 and have quickly established a reputation as one of Perth’s premier gypsy jazz bands. The group is comprised of vocals, guitar, clarinet and double bass. All members of the group have extensive past experience and are well known to local audiences through their work with various groups in Perth.

Featuring music from composers including Django Reinhard, Edith Piaf, Cole Porter, Birelli Lagrene and Duke Ellington, Perth Gypsy Jazz Band combines toe tapping swing, breakneck gypsy jazz, wistful french ballads and re-worked jazz standards in a vibrant and engaging mix of acoustic music, all performed with the dazzling virtuosity and passion that is intrinsic to the gypsy jazz tradition.
