Kristi began her musical journey from the inspired age of nine, in the small country town of Temora. It was at this time she started learning the first of many instruments to follow... Piano. With a natural gift on the ivory keys, she quickly progressed to guitar at the age of twelve. With a crystal innocent voice she started writing her own compositions from the age of thirteen. Encouraged and motivated by her dear high school music teacher and supportive friends, Kristi confidently started playing in local pubs from the legal age of eighteen.
With younger sister, Kim, the two became 'Broken Silence' covering their favourite classic and contemporary folk and pop songs, in perfect harmony. Kristi also enjoyed the bigger sound of playing in her band 'Final Exit' and extensively toured the Riverina, playing public events, festivals and private parties. After her nineteenth birthday it was time to break free from the cycle and move to the big smoke. It was Canberra that Kristi called home for the next three years, playing at popular bars and taverns, and supporting some up and coming Australian artists such as 'Gorgeous'. The years spent in Canberra were rich in experience as a solo performer, but it was back in her home town that her heart longed to sing again with her sisters. This time with Kim, and younger still Suzette, the three became 'Kindred Spirit'. With acoustic guitar, and perfect three part harmonies, the three quickly became well established across Riverina NSW. Kristi now lives happily on the Central Coast NSW, since moving there in 2003, she has recorded her first E.P 'A little solace', then formed 'ish' with sister Suzette and soul sister Loren Kate. The three successfully toured NSW, ACT, VIC and SA with an E.P they were all very proud of. As 'ish' they played the 2006 Peats Ridge Festival, alongside Angus and Julia Stone and Tim Freedman. 2008 brought Kristi the gift of motherhood and is inspired by her son, Kohen.
